Transfer landscape in college athletics shifted once again Wednesday when the NCAA Division I Board of Directors approved transfer windows for the transfer portal. The windows, which will occur following the regular season (a 45-day period starting the day after championship selections) and once during the spring (from May 1-15), will close the year-round merry-go-round that the transfer portal had become.
The windows go into effect immediately, meaning that business is closed along the transfer portal as we begin the 2022 college football season.
