Three M 2018 commits chosen

Forwards Jack Randl and Philippe Lapointe along with defenseman Jacob Semik were chosen earlier today to play in the 2017 U18 international Ivan Hlinka tourney in the Czech Republic and Slovakia in early August. All three players are committed to Michigan for the class of 2018.

Actually seems like all four recruits for next year had good showings at Natty Camp. Both Cal Kiefiuk and Philippe LaPointe were among the top five scorers. LaPointe scored the game winner in the All Star game and was lauded for being the most improved player from the prior year. Would be great if both could supply some needed offense. Semik is a puck moving D.

I wonder if Gustaf Westlund will be joining them in next year's class with the recent announcement. He seems like a good athlete/skater who could use some weight.
