1. On SMU QB Brown’s first carry, Metellus gets held like a mofo and allows Brown to get downfield. Right out in the open. Maybe the umpire was telling Bush where to be instead of doing his job.
2. On the topic of inconsistent spotting of the ball, ref missed the spot on DPJ’s first punt return. Ball was spotted on the 15, pretty sure he made it to 16-16.5 yard line before he was forced out.
3 On SMU’s first half TD, up receiver clearly engaged Long downfield allowing for Procier(sp) to get wide open. Same thing happens on their last TD as well.
