makes me sick at what college sports has become.
It is just all about the money. And absolutely nothing else. The teams associated with a specific shoe company have the upper hand over other teams. Think about how sad sack that is. It's a shame how far it's gone and how it's far it has fallen.
Took awhile for us to get there, but corporatizing college sports has finally done what is was inevitably going to do. That being turn it into a giant money grab and ruin the sport in the process.
16 year old basketball players only considering Nike schools because that is the direction his AAU coaches steered him in, all the while those coaches collecting $ from Nike. That is pathetic, but it is what is happening. Phil Nike gets to determine where the top basketball talent in the nation goes because of shoes and bags.
And it's probably going to unravel as fewer and fewer kids are even going to play football. Karma.
