Michigan could have folded like FSU and Florida when things didn’t go right, but Michigan did not. Injuries were the culprit and nothing else in my mind. 8-4 with the hand we were dealt is not the worst season. Quality losses and only one bad game away from being 9-3. If we had bad coaching this season Michigan could have easily been 6-6 or worse. Could the coaching have been better? Of course, but I believe we got the most out of what we had.
These young kids took their lumps this year and will be better for it. I expect next years team will have have the right mindset to make a push for a Big10 title and a potential playoff spot. Even after today’s loss to the bitterest of rivals I see the potential. We have a lot to be excited about.
