I question if Michigan has hurt themselves on the recruiting trail in a very BIGLY WAY? Michigan has always been known to recruit with integrity. Sur there were little things that changed before and things happened.

Going after Underwood was fine, but to do so and to lose Smith in the way we lost is a travesty. IMHO this should have been handled differently. It should have happened in a way where Smith never felt betrayed. This is bad and it will come to bite Michigan in the hind end going forward.

Why? The chances are very real that Underwood will not flip. Yet Michigan MUST get a QB who can transition the offence from a very run heavy offense to a more true NFL attacking offence via rushing and through the air.

Losing Smith may very well bite us big time. Because he wasn't lost through attrition, he was ran off due to a multi-million dollar buying of a 5 star who very likely will not flip from LSU.
