A little history lesson for those who are hand-wringing on the program this morning

In 1996 Michigan limped to an 8 - 4 record.

Michigan lost three out of its last four games.

Many people are openly questioning weather Lloyd had what it took for the job.

The good news was that the team had an outstanding defense.

Michigan beat second-ranked John Cooper lead Ohio State team in Columbus. Michigan teams good and bad destroyed John Cooper year after year.

Lloyd was doing an excellent job of recruiting but I don't believe he is recruiting better than Harbaugh is today

Michigan finished the year
5th in the Big Ten,
ranked 20th in the country.

I think the 2018 10-2 Michigan team is more capable and more promising for the coming year than the 1996 8-4 Michigan team was.

It's really hard to be patient. It's really hard for some to be optimistic at this point.

The margin of difference is smaller than it seems at this moment.

You should be excited about the future.
