The current body count of returning players projected as starters is up to 10 by my tally (8 on defense). The toe tags include: McDowell, Nicholson (both left early), Robertson, Lukusa, Reschke (all confirmed), V, C and K (the rumored big 3), Lyke and Copeland (not in student directory currently - so not confirmed) . They also just lost Kaleel Gaines, a DB who played in the spring game.
This does not count the guys not on this list in "redlock" or whatever that means. With the program under a microscope, it will be harder to keep everything under the rug.
Their D was bad last year. Losing 8 guys who would start is mind bottling. They will be essentially be starting their 2nd string.
