The main benefit of the portal is to address needs with players who have experience, but overall it hasn't been good compared to years' past.
I get it, they got a late start etc etc but you can't strike out on so many kids in positions of need. A lot of this could be attributed to coaching but some of these additions were head scratchers to begin with.

- Mangham: Non factor
- Amir Hall: He's not Josh Wallace
- Ricky Johnson: Who?
- W. Walker: Non factor
- A. Walker: Non factor
- Priebe: He should've been the standout on this line and he's just been so-so
- Charleston: Basically another fullback
- Zvada: the one shining star in this portal class
