Is plainly just an attempt by the those conferences to make it look like they're doing something when they're actually not doing anything, right? We've got all this fanfare for an announcement . . . that they're going to work together. There's no signed agreement, it's not entirely clear what they've allied to do, but by God they've announced it and you should take notice of it . . . whatever it is.

I mean, I'm not the only one noticing this. If I was a reporter I'd seriously consider asking these guys why they made me attend this press conference. It's like the Seinfeld of announcements: an announcement about nothing.
