I moved to Richardson Texas in 1976. Our daughter graduated from TCU in 2010. Being a football fan I started following the Horned Frogs when my daughter was there which was during the Andy Dalton era. The were really good and a great distraction from Rich Rod. I have kept up with them ever since and they are my second favorite team behind the Wolverines. I thought you all might like some fun facts about the frogs.

They are one of only 4 FBS teams to have played in all six of the modern day CFP bowls( Rose, Fiesta, Sugar, Cotton, Peach and Orange). Joining Florida State, Miami and Tennessee. TCU has a combined 6-5-1 record in those bowls, notching wins in all but the Fiesta and Orange
TCU’s hated rival is Baylor. Baylor voted to block them from joining the Big 12.
They really hate each other. Kind of funny for 2 Christian schools.
They are the number one college football team in Texas . Ahead of Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, SMU, Houston and Baylor. But they get very little media attention down here. Even in the Dallas Ft Worth area.
Since 1998 there record is 218-90 .70 winning percentage.
Now what is a Horned Frog you ask.
It is actually a lizard the Texas Horned Lizard. It is about the size of your hand . It is covered with horns and spines. When threatened it can inflate itself like a puffer fish to be hard to eat. If that doesn’t work it can squirt blood up to 5 feet from its eye lids. Yes it really can squirt blood from its eyes. Fear the frog.
I think this is going to be a tough game.
But Michigan wins a close one.
