I confess to not spending any real time on MSU hoops.

Until this year and watching them implode faster than the Astrodome did after about 10 tons of TNT. Understanding that MSU hoops fan is slightly more evolved than football troglodyte, even they see the horror of their universe. Foster Loyer may be Izzo's worst recruiting miss ever. The lack of any centers or bigs is also a major miss. But both at the same time, is simply glorious.

The only thing left for them to play for this year is for Michigan's season to be derailed and today was that opportunity. When Sparty came off their layoff, they had a 37 point output at Rutgers. Their fan base was a twitter with the idea that they Michigan would deliver a similar laid egg. And it looked that way in the first half. Then we had a true Spartan dawg wannabe, Brad Davidson go Sparty on Mike Smith's face. The game changed and sucked all the hope out of the Basement.

Who on MSU's team would start for Michigan this season? Not a single player.

Talent matters more than layoffs. MSU's team chemistry and execution is totally broken. Michigan's chemistry shined through today and these teams are going in opposite directions.

I hope and pray that the MSU v Michigan game gets rescheduled. We need to play those guys twice and drive a stake through Izzo's pea sized heart.
