I was barely able to open my eyes and ponder getting out of bed for the first time in a week, my category 5 hangover still raging. I am still in disbelief at the implosion at the Big House last Saturday.
I will just say this:
The Fighting Tuckers regressed to their mean Saturday, getting rolled 49-7 by a bad Iowa team. Should have been worse as Iowa played scrubs after putting up 35 in the first half.
Rocky, "Tom Brady vs. Michigan" Lombardi delivered a QBR of 15.1 with 3 picks. Yeah, the real Rocky Lombardi showed up.
The Sparty OL dominated the Iowa D to the tune of 1.8 ypc for a total of 59 yards rushed in the game with 2 sacks.
Ricky White played like a freshman with 1 catch.
The Sparty D was gashed for 226 yards on the ground at a 5.5 YPC clip, and that is against an Iowa without any great play from quarterback.
Instead of going to the basement, I just rolled back over, and went back to bed.
This hangover is going to last a very very long time.
