The idea of deemphasizing Michigan and Ohio as much as Harbaugh is, is a little jarring for us old timers. Ohio dropped from 1st to 9th under Harbaugh. Michigan dropped from 3rd to 5th under Harbaugh.
Yes, I understand what he is doing. He is making a statement about Michigan recruiting nationally. He is also going to the deep wells of talent in the south. So far its working with a well rated class. Its all about how we finish that matters. There is a LOT of drama remaining in this class I am sure.
Question: Its exciting to watch, but do you think Harbaugh's strategy of emphasizing National recruiting over Midwest will be successful over the long run?
