Really should be best two of three somehow instead of single game elimination. Crowd size problem solved.

Wow, saw that they were moving to campus sites, but I hadn't read the details until now. The entire tournament at campus sites. I thought they might do a two weekend things with the top seed getting a weekend off, then a best of three series, the semi's and finals at a neutral site, but I see it's all campus sites. That home site, especially for the semi-final and final will be huge.

Well the USCHO article says single game format for rounds 2 and 3 was chosen due to venue conflicts at some of the schools' arenas. Now that the B1G is making this move, maybe they can avoid those conflicts in future years and have all rounds be 3-game format.
