Speight was at Steve Clarkson's QB guru camp in Cali last week. Clarkson said he has made many strides in leadership etc. Said they held him out of some of the actual QB things because he is still not 100% after off season surgery. Here is his quote.
“He’s always been a pretty confident young man,” Clarkson said. “He’s focusing on some of the things he needs to get better at. Obviously, he’s had to recover from off-season surgery so we limited some of the stuff he did with us because he’s not completely 100%."
I found this interesting especially after so many on here have bashed him about his spring performance. (Myself included to a point) It makes sense now and I am rooting big time for Wilton to recover fully and be 100% by the time camp starts.
