This year has been a year of humbling personally. I have taken a step back from a lot of the daily trivial issues in my life... and sat back and dealt with family issues involving mental health and terminal illness.
I have enjoyed just being a lurker... and chiming in from time to time when a thread brings me a smile from one of so many on here that I have grown to appreciate. Also, I feel like as a fan of Michigan Football... I can rest a bit easier easier knowing after a lost decade or so... Michigan has found it's way again. I dont really know if it will lead to Championships or trophies... I just know it is in the right hands.... with the right people .... at the right time for a very very bright future.
Others aren't so fortunate. The outrage over this past Saturday has been extraordinary. Primarily the disdain regarding punishment handed down over "WALK-GATE" or March gate.... or red rover gate... or whatever we are calling it. I smile at the Irony of the Spartans being nearly 100 strong against 3. I marvel at the willingness to write their own narrative only to have REALITY smile right back....with a devil sly grin only a fox camera can catch.
Fans in East Lansing have even gone so far as to talk of starting a "GO FUND ME" page to pay for the fine imposed on the school by the BIG. Outrage, disdain, anger.... all terms used by the casual fans for the downright prejudice shown against them. So they are forming into a Phalanx... they are planning and they are going to RIGHT a wrong....
And yet... (And maybe this is pure ignorance on my part)... but... how many GoFundMe pages have been Started in the undergroundBunker ... for the survivors of the horrific abuse of Dr Nassar and others?
I don't recall any... but hey... maybe it happened when I blinked.
