The nothing short of incredible 13-3 record that Dusty cobbled together from a team full of transfers that have very little past seasons and adversity/response to fall back on has ironically made it less enjoyable to watch because they are so close from an absurdly unlikely banner when their play seems so far from that.
I’m trying desperately to recalibrate and not punish myself for Dusty’s overachievement!!!!
I don’t think there’s any sure wins left - I think we’ll be in a dogfight Thursday night at home - I think a split against Illinois and Maryland is a very good outcome. That’s what my eyes tell me and that’s ok because this is an incredible turnaround already!!!!
