I posted the comment below in the excellent thread started by @ImissMichigan :

So, it occurred to me to look a bit deeper. After watching the 2nd and 3rd teammates struggle badly, the 4th and 5th gymnasts (Wojcik and Brooks) stepped up with the highest (tied) and third highest beam scores of the day. By any of the 24 gymnasts. Knowing that the team was on the verge of losing the championship that they had led strongly before the final apparatus. That's crazy guys. Then, of course, with the whole gym watching, the closer (Heiskell)... CLOSES. (Tied for 7th highest beam score of the day)

Noticing the dominance of those high-stress performances, not just doing enough to win but blowing away the field when the pressure was highest, is worth this another thread.

When the third lady had the serious balance checks, meaning that a 9.7625 was going to count, I thought it was over. The floor (where OU was finishing the day) scores were a notch higher all weekend, so I didn't see how our top-three beamers were going to catch their top-three floor routines, in that circumstance. Michigan's 4th and 5th were UNREAL. Then, the closer with the whole building watching and knowing there was no room for error was amazing.

I hear ya, that WAS stressful! Can't even imagine the pressure the girls were under on the those last few Beam performances. And they nailed it!
