Sherrone oozed the "it" yesterday in a way I haven't seen.
This game was not too big for him. It started with his press conference at the beginning of the week. For me, that was the first moment I started thinking we could win. It wasn't bravado, but rather a deep confidence in coaches and players.
The way led SM them into that wretched place. No wavering or bravado. Just dialed in confidence. Throughout the whole game his leadership presence on the sidelines was STRONG. At times playful. Shooting the arrow at Ryan Day after the game-winning FG was priceless. His post-game interview was the best. Coach is confident to show his deep love for his players. His post-game presser was even better. Especially his answer to the question about the post-game drama.
It's so fun to watch SM live large in the largest moments (unlike 3rd Base). The great coaches/leaders figure it out.
That win might be my all-time favorite Buckeye win. SM gets a massive amount of the credit.
