To continue the thought ..... Not bad for a 5th string UM RB that was "apparently" not good enough to see the field in any meaningful way. I guess Rawls got "coached up" by the CMU coaching staff. Our coaches have been SO BAD over the last 7 years.... a complete dumpster fire.

AGP. And it took Clappy until late last yr to give Drake a shot, although he looks miles ahead of the other backs.

Don't forget that even Fitz who was terrible at Michigan made it with the Ravens. Players seriously regressed under Hoke the past 4 years - it was really sad to see unfortunately. Good for Rawls - happy for the kid.

Drake has a burst that I have not seen in a RB for a while - he may not shed tackles but he'll not be tackled in the backfield though.

Come on, Clappy said it takes 5-6 yrs to build a program. Of course, he also said he was a "helluva coach".
