I understand he's an education first type of guy and that's great, but does he understand that football and athletics is a huge part of his job too? Sure there's an Athleric Department but he is the President. Whether he likes football or not, he is not bigger than the university and its history. His job is to grow the footprint to handcuff the university as a whole. How can he be so proud to discuss this? These student athletes are part of his university and to dismiss their needs is awful.
