Had a morning meeting with some engineers on a real estate development I am involved with. Myself and my partner walked in wearing Michigan pull overs. He's an alumni I am just a Wal Mart Wolverine. We are reviewing plans and a lower end staffer of the engineering firm is getting upset. We had no clue what was going on. My partner is a big time developer I am just along for the ride. My partner asks what's the problem as we are reviewing the plans. The staffer went off screaming on how Michigan sucks and we cheated etc etc. My partner who is the calmest guy in the world smiles looks at the main engineer and says "Get this person away from me, my team and my file or we will walk from using you" Now this is a big development. We later see as we are leaving the person packing up there desk. We were informed in a text he was fired. This person lost a job making $100k a year probably over a football game. Was the craziest hour I have had in a while.
