Recommendations for San Diego Hotels

Hello -- first time posting. I'm looking for a couple of very nice -- nice, clean rooms, nice grounds, kid-friendly -- San Diego area hotels right on the beach in fairly close proximity to main attractions -- Sea World, Zoo, etc. -- for wife and 17-month old daughter. Any thoughts are very appreciated-thanks very much in advance!
