Was wondering what people think ticket prices get down to come early afternoon on Monday?
I'm a 12 hour drive away, and if I go it would be with my 2 daughters (9 and 7 years old) - so we would need 3 tickets. I've long thought that I would make the trip to the National Title game if we got there, but I can't justify the ticket cost + venue. If tickets were to get down to $500-600, I think I'd make the trip tomorrow night and do it.
Does anyone think that is possible?
Side note: I'm really kicking myself due to not making the Rose Bowl trip. My dad took us for the 1998 game, and it's been an iconic moment ever since. The holiday time period made it difficult, as we always fly back home to Michigan for Christmas to see my family and my in-laws. As satisfying as that win was, I just can't get past the fact that I decided not to go. For some reason the National Title game just doesn't excite me as much as the Rose Bowl, due to the 1998 game experience, and everything that the Rose Bowl is.
