Got my first shot today. Restaurant workers became eligible yesterday. First appointment I could find open was at the Bushwick Educational Center....could have gone yesterday (they have next day openings) but....you know....basketball.
THEY DO NOT VERIFY IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE. AS LONG AS YOU SIGN UP THEY JUST GIVE IT TO YOU. While I brought proof, they simply take your word for it....could have told them anything. And you can be from any borough. Have 30+ stations set up so you are in and out....I actually showed up 20 mins early and was back on the subway before my actual appointment time.
So if you want the vaccine (moderna btw) that's where you need to go....sign up online....all you need to gibe is the registration # they give you after you sign up....
