I know their external investigation absolved him of any wrongdoing, and said he acted as well as can be expected given the situation, but I still think he's gone by 2019 for these reasons:
1) Their window of championship contention has closed. The division is too tough now, and I think you'll see DJ pass them at Maryland.
2) Too many other off-the-field problems not even counting this terrible (alleged) incident shows their once vaunted ability to identify "character guys" has systemically declined.
3) Blackwell's downfall will severely hurt them in Detroit recruiting, and given our ability to recruit nationally compared to them that is an area Sparty has to at least break even let alone win.
