Look what Indiana did with their redshirt freshman QB. They started him against Charleston Southern to get him ready for today, and it paid off. He looked over his head for about 3 quarters, but against the best defense he'll face this season he made several winning plays down the stretch. That confidence should pay dividends rest of the way for Hoosiers.
Rutgers and Minnesota at home give us the chance to do the same with Peters. Especially if we're gonna play more Tressel-ball, which I'm all for. Our man-ball run blocking was pretty good all game. Yet despite a good running game, and Indiana selling out to stop the run, the best O'Korn can do is 10-20 for 58 yards. That's Threet-Sheridan bad, and after three years in the program we've seen enough.
So unless he's great against Penn State, move on and see what else we have. Especially when that something else might actually get better and can't possibly be worse. We have the worst starting QB in all of the power five. Let that sink in for a moment before you argue with this.
It can't get worse. It just can't.
