Michigan was quick to offer App. State WR Kaedin Robinson when he entered the portal, but they are just one of many P4 programs in on the wideout now.

He is arguably the perfect candidate for the Z role Michigan has been looking to fill. At 6'2" 205 lbs, with length, Robinson has an NFL frame and NFL skills.
His numbers are solid, with 53 recs for 840 yards and 2 touchdowns in 9 games last season. He had 67 recs for 905 yards and 10 TDs the year prior. He has nearly 2200 yards in his career.

Hands, routes, deep shots, crossers, doesn't go down. Kid is awesome.

Now, Georgia, Miami, and Florida State have basically been fighting over all the top WR prospects. Florida State has offered Robinson with Michigan, along with Auburn, UCLA, and UCF. UCF is interesting because that is where he began his career in the same class as new Michigan QB Mikey Keene. Despite some reports, Robinson did not overlap with Chip Lindsey at UCF, who was OC in 2022, while Robinson left after the 2021 season to transfer to App. State. UCLA recently added App. State QB Joey Aguilar in the portal.

Michigan has been hesitant with some of the high NIL demands that have been out there with some of the WRs in the portal, Robinson is a guy who will be worth what he commands. He has the tools and the film. We'll need to let the dust settle on this one to see where Michigan is in the pecking order, but a guy like this is a gamechanger for an offense looking to get more explosive. A perfect partner for the outside threat of Donaven McCulley, the speed and route guys like Semaj Morgan and Fred Moore, also what a great guy for Andrew Marsh to play behind and rotate with in his freshman year.
