Just left my 10yo daughter’s game in disbelief. After listening to a parent scream about calls for most of a game I calmly said there are signs posted about expectations for sportsmanship. Both teams were playing hard and let’s face it you aren’t really watching the NBA at 10 years old. Anyway she took great offense to what I said and said since a ref didn’t kick her out she wasn’t crossing the line. My only response was ma’am I am just saying there are signs posted about the expectations. To be honest maybe I should have not said anything but parents like this just suck all the energy and fun out of sports. Guess if I want to avoid it I need to put my AirPods in and crank up the tunes.
