This will be an enormous test for Don Brown's D. I am especially concerned given our inability to get to the NW quarterback yesterday.
If the OSU playmakers get the ball in space, and our D is blitzing / "sending the house", I see big plays happening all over the field. As we saw last night, there is no such thing as a safe lead against them.
I'm comfortable with our ability to shut down, or at least minimize the run game of any team we play against, but the playmakers in the open field have a huge advantage against this D.
On the other side of the ball, our first down play calling is pathetic. Predictable and totally non-productive. How many 3rd and 7's did we have yesterday? Against Northwestern?? Holy cow, I can't stand the unimaginative nature of a JH offense. Open it up.
