Previously there were reports of Strampel's 2010 employee evaluation having included feedback from survey's about his bad behavior. Now MSU's Provost, to whom Strampel reported, admits his 2015 evaluation also had negative behavior reports. MSU continues to block FOIA requests to release the surveys, but I'm guessing they somehow will be made public soon otherwise there isn't much reason for the Provost (June Youatt) to now admit to the negative survey comments. She seems to be trying to get out ahead of the story. After the 2010 evaluation the Provost at that time (Kim Wilcox) recently said he had Strampel go to some training for the issue. Apparently it didn't work. Now Youatt is saying she addressed the issue with Strampel. Given the comments he allegedly made once Nassar's scandal became public (long after the 2015 review) it doesn't appear to have had any affect on him. He clearly never thought there would be any consequences at MSU for his actions.

The comments from attorney John Manly in the article linked above are very interesting. He seems to have gotten info on some of the 2015 survey comments and it sounds like they are much worse than what Youatt is even indicating. Manly works for several Nassar victims, but he may also represent some of Strampel's accusers (not certain of that, but a few of Strampel's accusers made their initial contact with Rachael Denhollander who I believe is represented by Manly). Doing some guesswork in connecting the dots, I speculate that lawyers for Strampel's accusers may have requested and been given access to the survey's for Strampel's 2015 review, which is what is prompting MSU to publicly comment on them now. They know eventually the contents will be made public so they are trying to get out ahead of the story a little bit to soften it and make it appear like they are trying to be transparent. Given that they've only been transparent when forced to be (kicking and screaming against their will), I have to think they know more is coming out soon.

Lou Anna Simon appears to have been hauled in to see the Michigan State Police, with the implication being it is Strampel related (though no confirmation on that):

It would make sense if she were being questioned about Strampel given he as a Dean during her whole tenure as President.
