Fellow Fort Members: It is w/ extreme sadness that my wife of 41 years has passed away from metastatic endometrial cancer that I have been occasionally asking for prayers OT since July. I took care of her as best as I could in our living room w/ supplemental visits from hospice staff several times a week. She was in such horrific pain, and required increased doses of morphine and later, Haldol as well to provide comfort. She passed away peacefully last night at 10:15. We will never be together for a Michigan football game as we traveled from PA to Ann Arbor every few years. Thank you for the prayers throughout this past year on our difficult journey.
