The short list for the KU AD search includes more boosters/former players than individuals with AD experience
Danny Manning (Almost no AD experience, owns a bank in Lawrence with Super Booster Doug Compton and Bill Self) - being pushed by Compton and his minions.
Banks Floodman former KU linebacker and AD employee with some experience but has been out of athletics for 6 years.
Super Booster Kent McCarthy who donated the money for the 12 million dollar mens basketball dorms among many other donations. Local business man with no experience.
Michael Alford - CEO of Seminole Boosters (Former CMU AD) made the list and so did Brian White at FAU (from a large family in the AD game his dad is Kevin White at Duke and the KU boosters know Duke boosters..... ) both sighted for their fundraising ability i.e. they know how to play the booster game.
We should be be very proud to have Michigan Men and Women with integrity leading our programs and doing things the right way.
