Obviously I was generally familiar with Gullett as a former pitcher and then the Reds' pitching coach for a fair number of years. However, I just learned that in the nine MLB seasons that he played, he was in 6 World Series (1970, '72, '75, '76, '77, and '78) and ended his playing career by playing on four consecutive world champions ('75 and '76 Reds, and '77 and '78 Yankees). I just thought that was amazing and that someone here might find it interesting.
