Thought I would post this as I know there are many dog lovers on the board.
I have an 11 year old lab who has always had hip issues. Recently he would go through these spells where he could barely get up, almost like his backend would freeze up on him. He would be that way for a couple of days and then slowly come out of it.
Our vet had given us ibuprofen that we would use when he showed signs of pain, and it seemed to help a little.
On a whim my wife bought some Martha Stewart CBD chews. So we have gone to 2 of these per day and then one ibuprofen a day, and he is like a new dog. Haven’t had one day where he shows sign of the pain he used to have, he’s back to jumping on beds, running around like he’s 2. Has improved his quality of life significantly. At one point, my wife was scared we would have to put him down, now it appears this guy may stick around awhile as otherwise, he is a very healthy dog. We started the CBD chews before the daily ibuprofen so I really feel like these things helped him.
