If faced with this choice after covid:
A) The same position you last had. It is one of the best companies in the world....actually better name wise than you've worked with before. Will pay well, has incredible benefits etc. However, it reached it's peak years ago, is not thought as innovative and basically very mechanical...and you basically already know how to do it...
B) A step down in position (and pay) but the "CEO" tells you he will teach you everything (and you don't know much about what he makes). However, It's not exactly a mainstream product but people pay way over top dollar for it. And this company is considered the best in the world doing it....they didn't break rules...they made them...
So what would you do?
One detail to consider: I am not young.....40s
