OT: Audio visual questions. So, my plasma finally died in the living room.

Lasted over 11 years so happy with that.

Going to be replacing it but I'm waiting for Black Friday/Cyber Monday and in the meantime, wanted to put the TV from my bedroom down there. It's a run of the mill LED.

The plasma was connected via HDMI to the Comcast/Xfinity DVR (Unfortunately!) and also to the blue ray player. So, I simply disconnected the HDMI cables, unplugged the tv and took it out.

The LED in the bedroom was just connected to one of those little black boxes. My wife mainly uses it and doesn't/wouldn't use the DVR function so why bother. Took the TV downstairs and connected the two HDMI cables to this TV. No picture. Tried changing the inputs and still no picture. Tried another HDMI cable I know works and no picture. Have the HDMI connected to port 1 in DVR and HDMI port 1 in TV. Have HDMI coming out of blue ray connected to HDMI 2. When I choose HDMI 2, the Blue ray shows up. I can actually hear the TV through the surround sound speakers, but not through the TV.

Do I need to call Comcast and have them flash something or do something since the TV was previously connected to the little black box and not the DVR?

What am I missing?

Any help appreciated!
