I rmember in the pretty recent past when OSU always had killer DEs:
The Bosa brothers and Chase Young dominated to the level of their recruiting status: Joey Bosa topped out with 13.5 sacks, Nick with 8.5 sacks, Chase with 16.5 sacks.

These are season high #s, not career totals.

After 2018 their recruiting didn't change- They brought in these guys:

Came back for his senior season in 2022 to beat Michigan, topped out at 3.5 sacks for his most productive season. 12 sacks total for a 4-year career... 😂

He had these recruits with him who actually got less sacks than Zach Harrison:

Now here we are, 4-years into what was supposed to be a dominant pass-rushing duo of the #7 overall recruit in in 2021:
17 career sacks with a season high of 6.
and the #12 recruit nationally.
Career high 6.5 sacks, 4.5 this season, 18.5 career sacks.

5-$tar Jack Sawyer with 4.5 sacks this season, was less productive rushing the passer than our 3rd (backup ) DE- T.J. Guy with 5.5 sacks...

Josiah Stewart, a transfer and former 3-star recruit has 8.5 sacks.

So FOR THE RECRUITS OUT THERE, Michigan takes two 5.5 3-star DE recruits and puts more pressure on opposing QBs than OSU's two top 12 national recruits at the end positions. Choosing between these two programs should be a no-brainer for high school DE recruits...Unless they are looking forward to being the next J.T.T., Crybaby Sawyer, or Zach Harrison and barely touching QBs over a 4-year career, all while watching thier draft status plummet.

It will be even sweeter when Stewart gets drafted over these punks.
