...let me just start by saying you're crazy. Only Michigan fans....smh.

Cade has led this team to 7-0. Today he was 20/27 for 129 yards. No picks, no fumbles, no incredibly bone-headed plays.

He doesn't call the plays. And he can't run routes for the receivers and get open. We have a "lack of separation" problem with our passing game - not a "QB can't hit the broadside of a barn".

JJ has a lot of skills and his "upside" is evident. But for those of you clamoring for him to start let me ask ya:

  • does it mean he completes the 7 incompletions that Cade "missed" today?
  • do the WR's start to magically get open now that JJ is the QB?
  • does JJ always make the right decision and throw the ball to the right guy?
  • does he never throw a pick or fumble?
  • does he always get us in the right play?
And on and on I could go. It's truly amazing to me to see a fan base that just assumes perfection will come to the offense as soon as the back-up QB is inserted into the starting lineup. We are 7-0 and are a top 10 team who is looking pretty good. What happens if JJ does start and doesn't instantly become the second coming of Tom Brady? Is it Gattis fault? Bad play-calling? Or some other excuse?

Cade is the starter and has gotten us to 7-0. What else needs to be said, really?
