It looks like it actually could happen in the next couple days.
This kid is an elite shooter and probably not a one-and-done. A source close to it told us a few months ago (which we reported in an ITF) to "keep an eye on Houstan and Harrison Ingram." They had gotten their four and their recruiting strategy had shifted to going after the "recruitable" five stars.
He qualifies, as does 2022 point guard Jaden Bradley. Houstan and his family are looking for the right fit above all else and don't need the extracurricular stuff.
