I won’t give my opinion on Glenn in this thread but rather the overreaction to people who think it’s a “wasted” scholarship.

In 2012/13 we played for a national title with Blake McLimans, Eso Akune, Max Bielfeldt, and Matt Vogrich on scholarships. They were all useless that

In 2017/18 we played for a national championship with Jaaron Simmons, Eli Brooks, Ibi Watson, and Austin Davis on scholarships. They were all useless that year.

Rotations seldom go beyond 8-9 players and we have 13 scholarships. Do the math.

This idea from some fans that you need to hit big on all your scholarships or it’s wasted is hilarious. Wasting one would be wiping your ass with it. Using one on forward that will probably at worst case be better than Adrian Nunez at everything basketball related is not a big deal. If Greg Glenn only ever becomes useful as an 8th guy in the rotation his junior and senior years we’ll still be fine from an overall roster standpoint.

3-4 misses? Bad. One or two misses? Nothing burger.
