Cliff Keen Wrestling Club/U of M have several guys competing today but the quarter-finals were not kind to them. Logan Massa was the 4 seed at 74 kg in freestyle but dropped his match against David Carr. Massa will wrestle Chace Marsteller (2 seed) in the consolations. Mason Parris was the 3 seed at 125 kg in freestyle but lost 4-4 on criteria to Daniel Kerkvliet (note - I HATE the last score criteria there has to be a better way to determine a winner). Parris will take on the winner of Jordan Wood vs. Tanner Hall (unless Hall upsets Steveson). Finally Adam Coon (alum) was the 1 seed at 130kg in Greco and teched his opponent in 32 seconds to make the semi-finals. Adam is the favorite to win the team trials but still needs to qualify the weight for the Olympic games.
