Not quite a day later...but here it goes...

1) OSU...what can you say..? It's all there in front of our eyes...OSU is stacked with talent on both sides of the ball. They have true difference makers at QB in Fields (thanks useless NCAA) and RB in Dobbins...and with so many dangerous, lightning quick WRs I can't remember their names.

Fields is the best QB in the B10 who can beat you running or passing...especially when escaping the pocket...just a devastating weapon. Dobbins is better than last year and proved again he can go the distance when he gets to the 2nd level.

Their defense is just full of elite athletes...especially with DEs who rush the passer...and DBs who are ball hawks.

The difference between OSU and Michigan is, well, simply a bridge too far.

2) MSU...this may go against many opinions on the Fort, but MSU played OSU hard and tough last night. Yes, the outcome was inevitable, but if not for two fumbles in their first 4 plays, and Lewerke missing a wide open WR White for an easy TD late in the 2nd Quarter...the final score would have been about 14 points...even as good as OSU is in Columbus.

MSU has a dangerous WR in Stewart and Cody White is very good as well...They also have a tough RB in Collins...and a couple of big TEs who always seems to be open.

MSU's offense shows a lot of motion and misdirection in the backfield that kept OSU off balance early...and seems to more versatile than I imagined. They seem to get the ball to guys in space better than Michigan...sad as that is to say.

Lewerke played a very good game IMO...he made several strong, accurate throws under pressure and would have even better stats if not for his WRs dropping at least 5 passes in their hands.

MSU's defense wore down against OSU...where one mistake and Fields of Dobbins can burn you for a TD.

If MSU plays as well against Michigan...especailly Lewerke...it will be a very tough game for UM to win...even at home.

3. Michigan...As good as our defense was yesterday, it's hard to imagine winning the games to come versus PSU, ND, MSU and OSU if our offense can barely muster 10 points against Iowa. I have no idea what is wrong with our offense...but it seems we cannot run the ball again this season...and that will kill us against better teams than Iowa...and particularly against a MSU defense that is very good and aggressive.

It's hard to make a case for us against PSU on the road and ND and OSU at home. The MSU game is the key...lose at home to MSU and we're looking at a 7-5 season record in year 5 of Jim Harbaugh. Again, hard to imagine.

4) Notre Dame...I'll only add one comment about Notre Dame...whoever decided to schedule Notre Dame again...especially in the middle of the B10 season...made a terrible decision...supposed rivalry or not. Playing ND between games like PSU and MSU/OSU is ridiculous...and it will cost Michigan a win IMO.
