I think that MSU has a good defense and they are good against the run

When they faced a good running team in Penn State, PSU ran for 205 yards. 6.4 y/c. Take away the big 78-yd run they still averaged over 4 yds/carry. The PSU line is not great. It is not clearly better than Michigan.
Prediction: Of course Shea will do damage with the pass and read option. I expect a mix of passes even on 1st down however, I expect Michigan to open the game pounding the football (to the chagrin of the fans).
Remember the line from the fight scene in Rocky when his manager tells Rocky: "Go to the body!. Don't let that bum breathe!"

I expect Michigan to land body blows with the running game all day long. Early on it will appear less productive. The dividends will be returned in the 4th quarter. That is just Jim Harbaugh being Jim Harbaugh.
