No fans in the stadiums were a big part of the deal to play but even a few fans are better than none.

I was in Tallahassee last week and there was an announced attendance of around 19,000. The band section had about 50-60 kids playing their instruments. They still had Renegade come out and throw down his flaming spear. (One of the best traditions in college football) After the rain delay, the crowd seemed to be having fun and engaged with the game. Almost all but not all kept their masks on. All in all, I thought FSU did a good job and there was the feeling that it was a real ballgame and not a scrimmage.

I think the Big Ten will miss that. I hope they consider modifying it a little as the season goes on.
