After doing some digging, I feel as if Michigan has done enough in the final days to get over the finish line with 2022 four-star defensive lineman Deone Walker.
Though FutureCast's don't come with a confidence number, I would put mine at a 6. Michigan is fairly confident that Walker is expected to sign with the Wolverines on Wednesday. While this alone isn't a slam dunk, the fact that Walker and his family had visited Ann Arbor multiple times this week gives me the feeling that things have been sealed up. Walker took an early-week visit to campus before heading to Kentucky over the weekend. He returned to Ann Arbor on Sunday to get one final face-to-face meeting with coaches before the dead period began at midnight.
This one should be an interesting finish. But, as of right now, the Wolverines could be in store for a special Wednesday.
