Will be attending my lady friend's graduation in Manhattan next weekend and we are staying for an extra night before she comes back to California with me. Looking for a great restaurant for next Monday, a "celebration" type place as she is graduating, has passed exams, and has some great job offers lined up. She lived in Manhattan for most of the past few years, but really hasn't given me much to work with for a restaurant thus far. Probably thinking steak or Italian. (We've been to Keens and Peter Luger before.)
I currently have a dinner reservation at Del Posto, but their "jacket encouraged" item isn't ideal for me as I don't plan on bringing a jacket to NYC (and I just don't like wearing a jacket.) Looking to spend about $150pp.
