My Expectations Took a Body Blow Yesterday

Nightmarish mistakes continue on the OL. A QB that I fully expected to be improved this season has looked poor at best. No real running game outside of a 5th year senior making improvised plays.

And added to our poor offense is a list of many of our future opponents looking much better than I expected (in order of our upcoming games: Purdue, MSU, Indiana, Maryland). We will be tested by each of them and, based on yesterday's hot mess on offense, we could lose to ...... well .... any of them.

My hopes for a team playing championship level football were fumbled away yesterday in a blur of bad ball handling, missed assignments and overthrown passes.

I am 60 years old. I have seen more than my fair share of Wolverine glory. But the last ten years have absolutely emotionally gutted me and the dream of a great Harbaugh led resurgence this year was sacked by the ghosts of Brady Hoke past. Our previous coach left a cupboard of great players at many positions, but the inherited sub-par talent at OL, RB and QB continues to haunt us.

UGH!!!!!
