Here's a side by side comparison of 4 and 5 star players on each roster, by class.
5th year. Minnesota - 0 Michigan - 3
Senior Minnesota - 0 Michigan - 4
Junior Minnesota - 2 Michigan - 5
Soph Minnesota - 2 Michigan - 15
Frosh Minnesota - 0 Michigan - 13
So, looking back, Michigan has lost a ton of 4 star players, that could still be here.....the senior class started with 19 four and five star players, and only 4 are left...... That's huge. But that said, I like to think that on average, the team with more talent according to the professional scouts, should win the game. Obviously that's not always the case, but if you have equal coaching, then the team with more talent should win.
Michigan has 12 four star upperclassmen to Minnesota's 2 That needs to be seen on the field.
And the young guy's......Michigan's 15 four star Sophomore's need to be heard from. And if these recruit rankings mean nothing.....then why rank them?
